British adults eat a lot of sweets too… especially at Easter, when they buy the family big chocolate eggs filled with their favourite sweets.

But how much do Britons spend on sweets per year? Every man, woman and child in the UK spends more than £1.16 per week on 250 g of sweets. This is the total price of 37,600 Rolls-Royce's - or 50 Jumbo jets! It's a record in the European Community.
Another British record is the high number of children and adults with dental problems. So it's not surprising that they have school dentists in England…
